Jason Giesbrecht

Jason, serving as the Director of Golf at Royal Colwood Golf Club, is responsible for overseeing the golf operations, including retail, instruction & coaching, member services, and golf course maintenance with a team of over 40 individuals. With this scope of responsibility Jason has a keen awareness for the need of a quality experience in wide range of services which affect a golfers overall experience. As a leader in club fitting, Jason's home club of Royal Colwood Golf Club was one of the very first member facilities in Western Canada to invest and implement TrackMan technology into the clubs daily golfer evaluations and fittings. More recently, in addition to working to develop his own team of professionals at Royal Colwood, he has been assisting the PGA of Canada as one of their evaluators for some of their core education requirements. This has included the facilitation of both theoretical and practical training for PGA of Canada Candidates for Membership. As future technology leaps in equipment design are being limited by both technology and the Rules of Golf Jason feels club fitting, with a focus on the individual golfer, will be an increasingly critical role of the golf professional going forward.
