The Golf Lab Academy Team
The Golf Lab Academy team has been pulled together to assemble a unique team of movement, analytics and golf coaching minds. This team of experts is creating a new way of looking at and analyzing the golf swing and club-fitting.
LIAM MUCKLOW
Founder
Liam is a lifelong golfer and general sports enthusiast. Born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, Liam and his family have always been involved in sports and coaching. In High School, Liam played five varsity sports, and he continued this into university, where he was on three Varsity teams simultaneously, winning medals in Badminton and Golf while serving as captain of the Volleyball team.
In his professional life, Liam began by trying to provide golfers with the same experiences he had as one of the top Long Drivers in the world, later competing on various professional tours around the globe. The Golf Lab was founded in 2009 with an Academy and Headquarters for Research and Development in Toronto. There are currently over 1,200 Golf Lab Certified Professionals worldwide, with satellite locations in Spain, Korea, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Singapore.
In 2019, Liam began research into the Bat-Swing relationship in Baseball. Later that year The Baseball Performance Lab was founded in partnership with Marucci Sports in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The BPL now works with athletes whose career earning total over $1 Billion. Liam continues to bring his passion for performance and power to both golf and baseball.
Carson Hau
Managing Partner Golf Lab YYZ
Carson is responsible for the day-to-day operations at King Valley. He was named PGA of Ontario Apprentice Professional of the Year in 2019 and PGA of Canada Teacher of the Year in 2022. Spending time certifying golf professionals around the world in the use of technology for coaching and club fitting.
In 2020, Carson was named a SwingCatalyst ambassador. He primarily coaches members, ensuring they understand how to practice effectively and play smart. He is a club fitting expert, and spending time with head engineers and tech companies has given him the knowledge to pinpoint where the opportunities are.
Having spent time on a PGA Tour Van building clubs for the pros, Carson now spends his time optimizing and custom-building clubs for Golf Lab members. He meticulously watches over the Lab and ensures our members get full benefit from our state-of-the-art facility.

jonny Collins
Digital Media Producer
Jonny attended Georgian College in 2014, where he played 4 years on the Collegiate Golf Team. During these years, he was part of the 2016 Provincial silver medalist team and the 2015 Provincial bronze medalist team.
Jonny has been with the Golf Lab since 2018. He started as a Lab Technician, teaching members and junior players. He quickly learned how to manage social media and educated himself on capturing content and editing from a golf expert’s point of view.
Jonny now specializes in leading golf research projects from inception to completion. He develops and implements standardized testing protocols, capturing data with precision. Jonny is deeply involved in every stage of the process, from assisting in the design and execution of the research to shooting and producing video content that brings our findings to life.
Jonny’s role includes documenting our work and creating professional resources to share with business partners and collaborators upon completion of the research. Jonny also directs and produces educational content for The Golf Lab and its global partners, working closely with our international ambassadors to plan, film, and deliver high-impact instructional material.
Jonny’s focus is on transforming complex data into accessible content that coaches, players, and fitters worldwide can apply in real-time.

Graeme MacDougall
Lab Technician
Graeme is the newest addition to the Golf Lab team. He was the #1 seed on his post-secondary Georgian Grizzlies Golf team, was an OCAA top 10 player, and he qualified for the Ontario Amateur Championship. With a passion for golf that started at a young age, Graeme is committed to honing his skills and knowledge in the sport.
As a new member of our team, he brings fresh perspectives and a keen eagerness to learn and grow within the industry. Graeme is excited to contribute to our facility and assist members with their golfing needs. His dedication to the game and ongoing education make him a valuable addition to our team. Turning professional in 2025, we look forward to seeing Graeme thrive both on and off the course.
